The latest Time for Tea project took place in Cornwall with groups from The Chaos Group and Malpas Community Centre. One group decided to focus on international solidarity . They made a “cake” using paper with the faces of youth on the outside and messages about issues affecting young people for discussion inside on each “slice” of the cake. They want to send these messages to their peers. The other group chose the mental health of young people as their theme. The group made a biscuit box with biscuits inside each with an issue connected to mental health written on each biscuit. They also created a menu and gave the teas names symbolising issues and suggested remedies. They decided to send their package to MP’s and the local community.
